1. HOW DO I APPLY FOR LIHEAP?

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists eligible low-income households in paying for winter energy services.

Heating season applications are accepted from October through July and DuPage County can do October to mid-August.
        (You may apply only ONCE during this heating season)

Applications are by appointment only and are taken at two of the Bloomingdale Township offices:

2. COMPLAINTS FOR WEEDS / GRASS?

Bloomingdale Township has an ordinance requiring all weeds and grass to not exceed a height of twelve (12) inches.

If there is a property in an unincorporated area that needs attention, please call our office at 630-529-7715. This program operates from April 15th through Oct 15th.

3. GARAGE SALES?

Bloomingdale Township itself does not currently have any special rules for garage sales in the unincorporated areas. DuPage County rules must be observed (such as Fridays - Sundays only, max of 4/year, and max of 2 consecutive weekends). We encourage you to contact the County at 630-407-6500 for additional information.

4. WHO DO I TALK TO ABOUT MY PROPERTY TAXES?

For any questions regarding your property taxes, please contact the Bloomingdale Township Assessor’s Office at 630-529-6927.

5. WHO IS MY WASTE HAULER?

The Township does not contract waste hauling. It is the responsibility of the homeowners in unincorporated areas to arrange for their own service.

6. HOW CAN I SIGN UP FOR THE FOOD PANTRY?
